Ok so I know I’ve totally been slacking on the whole blogging thing. It’s just that I’m reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaallly busy. Seriously, college is super time consuming. Who knew, right? But I guess if we’re being honest here, I have actually had plenty of time to blog, I just forget. Phew, it feels good to get that off my chest.
Anyway I am a regular reader of Sarah Dessen’s blog. She is my all-time favorite author, and thus I am drawing inspiration for my own blog from her. She does this thingy called The Five, which is basically where she just writes about five things that are happening/are going to happen to her. So are yall ready for my Five? Here it goes.
1. I am really genuinely sad that Chris LeDoux is no longer around to grace us with his amazingly insightful and melodic songs. He’s been a favorite singer of mine since I was a wee little tot. He is about as country as it gets. So of course I love him. He appeals to my inner (and outer, I guess) redneck. On my list of Songs to Live and Die By, his songs make up a good half of it.
2. Christmas is coming up like super freakin duper soon, and I have yet to buy a single Christmas present. Does that make me a bad person?? I sure hope not. But what I DO think makes me a bad person is that fact that I have veeeeeeeeeeerrrrry limited funds for Christmas this year because I kinda accidentally on purpose spent a little more money on myself than I should have. Oh the shame!! But alas do not you fret! I have come up with funds AND gift ideas for each member in my family and for my friendlies.
3. Hey yall! Meet my newest celebrity crush, Mr. Ryan Sypek.
He is mighty good lookin, am I right? He acts in the show called Wildfire that I’m a little obsessed with lately. He’s this mightily hot cowboy in it. And as we all know, cowboys are my one true weakness. Isn’t he just irresistible? I do believe so!
4. I am a neurotic list maker now! I seriously make lists for everything. I mean, lists are practical sometimes, but I think I am completely taking it overboard now. Like I have a list of Absurd Life Goals, Television Shows That I Would Like to be a Character In, and all other manner of crazy things.
5. I am so freakin pumped for the NBA to finally start up on Christmas day! Like I honestly could not ask for a better Christmas present. I have been missing my Jazz. October and November were very long and sad months without being able to watch my pro ball. Also, I have very much missed lookin (more like staring, but those are just details) at two very attractive players. Guess who they are! Do you know? Ok, well I’ll tell you! Gordon Hayward and Derek Favors. Mmmmmmmmmm check em out.
